Yep I'M INSANE. Wanna know why? I am ready to take on another QUILT. Not immediately of course. But yep!!!! I've been wanting to since Decemberish and I think I'll have time this summer even if I'm working. It'll take forever of course. But I'm excited. I have a rough idea of what I want. Here are some examples of my favorites. I want to mix gray and color, vintage and modern. I definitely want squares of linen. I already have a SMALL collection but will need more. Mmmm I can't wait! I want to use old unique vintage fabrics - which are hard to find sometimes but may be easier around the DC area in thrift stores, flea markets, what have you. And then of course there is always the internet but that can be actually more expensive than just buying someone's old sheet at a yard sale. Linen I can cut from dish towels as well.
Anyone have any old sheets, dishtowels, shirts, pillowcases, etc that you'd be willing to give up? Search those attics!!!!
Here are some of my favorites. What kind of pattern do you see? (IE what do I apparnetly like that I might want to incorporate into my quilt?)
So what do you think????? Small squares, big squares, rectangles, colors, pattern, border, etc etc?

I didn't get a ton of time to look at all the patterns and things but, I think my mom and dad might be willing to part with some old sheets. I mean they have holes and stuff in some of them so you would have to be careful with what you cut out but I'll see what I can do!
That would be awesome!!!!! I'll take anything unwanted. Even if it doesn't make it into the quilt having fabric scraps is awesome. Thank you so much! I get to see you guys this weekend!
